The Country Club and Junior FC will play the IBERDROLA League Final tomorrow (10.30 am). They will do so after eliminating RC Polo Barcelona (4-1) and SPV Complutense (2-1), respectively, in the semifinals. Two teams that will repeat what was the last final of this competition, played in the 2018-2019 season.
FIELD CLUB (4) RC POLO BARCELONA (1)
It was from the first penalty corner when the initial balance was broken. The direct launch by María López was rejected by Melani García, but the dead ball was picked up by Candela Mejías; who had forced this dangerous action, to make the first of the match (1-0, Minute 10). Those of Barcelona would react, who with a counter could return the tie, but Marta Segú’s shot went off a bit.
It was with the return to the game that the second would arrive in favor of the Madrid women. Again from the penalty, it was María López; direct shot, who increased the rent to two (2-0, Minute 22). A team that maintained control of the game and that returned to add seconds after reaching the break through Begoña García, who was hit with the rival goal (3-0, Minute 34).
Subsequently, the Aragonese forward would hit again after overcoming the halfway point of the clash, thus enlarging the difference, by culminating a beautiful offensive combination (4-0, Minute 39).

Encuentro, which in its initial period, developed without clear scoring chances by either of the two contenders.
It would be in the next one, when Laura Bruguera was able to open the scoring. However, Natalia Salvador avoided it with a successful intervention. But almost immediately, a corner penalty had just broken the initial tie. Gigi Oliva shot towards the Madrid goal and Mariona San José was in charge of putting the stick to deflect the ball, which ends up in the back of the net (1-0, Minute 26). The university team would replicate from the penalty, but the Catalan back prevented a new tie. But in the last seconds before reaching the break, Berta Agulló materialized a good attack action that would leave a new game (1-1, Minute 34).
A meeting that resumed with the same trend. Maximum equality and few opportunities. A penalty corner in favor of those of Marcel Malgosa; cleared by the defense, a back counter for the university girls, which was not accurately defined by millimeters, a deflected shot by Patricia Álvarez and a shot by the Vallesanas; repelled by Anna Calvo, they could well modify the score.
It would not be like that until the final act. It was again from the penalty, when after two rejections, a last hit from Laia Vidosa meant the goal that gave the ticket to his team for the title match (2-1, Minute 58).
