Countries in the region condemn the response against Tehran

Tehran. Israeli bombings of missile manufacturing facilities in Iran early Saturday drew condemnation from several countries in the region.

Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey and Syria separately condemned the Israeli attacks against Iran. Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan and Malaysia expressed themselves in the same way. In Latin America, Brazil and Venezuela pronounced their condemnation of the war.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry described the events as violation of Iranian sovereignty and international law. Oman said the offensive fuels the cycle of violence and undermines de-escalation efforts seeking to stabilize the Middle East.

The United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain condemned the Israeli bombing and declared themselves deeply concerned about regional security and pacification. Kuwait considered that Tel Aviv’s offensive from the air reflects its politics of chaos.

Syria asserted that, given the current situation, it supports Iran’s legitimate right to defend itself.

Iraq, warned of dangerous consequences of the international community’s silence in the face of brutal behavior of Israel.

Egypt also expressed concern about the escalation as did Tunisia, which warned that the attacks are adding to the war of extermination that Israel has been waging for more than a year against the Palestinian people.

Pakistan warned that the attacks undermine the path to regional peace and added that Israel bears full responsibility due to the current cycle of escalation and expansion of the conflictwhile Malaysia requested the immediate cessation of hostilities and the end of the cycle of violenceAl Jazeera reported.

Within Latin American countries, Brazil also joined the condemnation, as did Venezuela, which rejected the aggressions perpetrated by the Zionist regime of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against Tehran and Damascus, which constitute a new act of unjustified aggression and violation of sovereignty of said countries.
