Thousands of children who showed magic in maths were a surprise to the city. MA More than 3000 students from various schools inside and outside Kerala came to participate in the national talent competition organized by Abacus.
Among the more than 12,000 children in the country, specially selected students participated in the 15th National Talent Context and opened the magic box in mathematics. The age of the contestants was below 14 years. Movie screenwriter Ranji Panicker inaugurated the event. Kerala CBSC Management Association President T.P.M. Ibrahim Khan was the chairman. Playback singer Gayatri Rajeev was the chief guest.
S. M. A abacus md. RG Suresh Babu distributed the prizes to the winners. Sumisha S., a class 7 student of Vaduthala Chinmaya Vidyalaya, who answered the questions correctly by singing the song of Sukharshree NB, multi-tasking mind calculation while singing, Sumisha S., a class 9 student of Elamakara Bhavan, who solved the Rubik’s cube in one and a half minutes during Halalu looping. Kozhikode Balussery Kokkallur G.H., which reveals the date between 1800 – 2200 years by performing pi and telling the date in seconds. S. Devapriya DR and Nipunika S., students of AC sixth standard. Kumar also enthralled the audience.
Habian Muhammad and Vignesh VV, class 4 students of Vishwabharati Public School, Neyyatinkara, left everyone in awe as they answered no matter how they were asked the names of more than 20 items from the audience.
