A situation that still forced the CEO of Nintendo to apologize publicly. And to counter this problem, a Japanese manufacturer has just presented an inexpensive solution.

Called “damage stoppers”, these Joy-Con Drift solutions come in the form of small circles of foam. Designed by the Japanese manufacturer CyberGadget, they protect the fragile interior of the Joy-Con. A product available for both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite. Will it be effective? For the moment, nothing is less certain. But if the manufacturer is to be believed, in addition to relieving the Joy-Con, they would improve the aim.
A product that will be available next August, for the trifle of 748 yen, or just over 6 €. Each package contains six foam circles, which will potentially have a significant impact on the problem of Joy-Con Drift. A solution presented as almost miracle by its manufacturer. To have a clear heart, it will still be necessary to be patient. In the meantime, you can always send your defective Joy-Con to Nintendo France after-sales service, who have been instructed to take them for repair even if they are no longer in warranty.
And who knows, maybe one day the Joy-Con Drift will be ancient history. But by then, we will have to be content with what the evil spirits manage to imagine like, we hope, these “damage stoppers”. Response in August next.
