As announced in the past few days, Valve’s signature classic shooting game “Counter-Strike 2” (CS2) was officially launched today (28th), and directly replaced “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” on the Steam platform. “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” becomes history.
“CS2” is a technical update to the original “CS:GO”. The maps and game matching modes that players liked previously are still there, but the game engine has made a huge leap forward from the Source 2 engine, allowing the game’s gunfire and map colors to Effects such as physical collision, light illumination, and particle smoke have been improved to become more realistic.
“CS2” is also a free game. Players who already own “CS:GO” can directly download and update it. “CS2” also launches a new “Priority Mode”.Priority CS2 players will be paired with other priority playersand are eligible to receive exclusive souvenirs, item drops, and weapon cases.
New players can lay the foundation through offline training, and then enter casual or deathmatch mode to improve their strength. Once you’ve unlocked competitive game matching, you can start showing off your skills.
The signature classic shooter “Absolute Force 2” has been officially launched on Steam for free. The standard price of “Priority Status Upgrade” is NT$462.
