Jakarta – Cakrabhayangkaranews.com (CBN) – As one of the efforts to find out the dangers of HIV AIDS, Yonif Raider 411/Pandawa Kostrad Mechanics held a lecture on “Dangers of Sexually Transmitted Disease Infection” at the Futsal Field, Headquarters of Yonif Raider 411 Kostrad Mechanics.
This was conveyed by Danyonif Mechanized Raider 411/Pandawa Kostrad Letkol Inf Subandi, SE, MIP, in a written release in the City of Salatiga, Central Java. Friday (31/3/2023).
Danyonif said, the activity that took place on Thursday (30/3/2023) was counseling about the dangers of sexually transmitted infections delivered by resource person dr. Yemima Tita from RST dr. Asmir Salatiga.
“This counseling is of course important to understand Soldiers and Persit Yonif Mechanized Raider 411/Pandawa Kostrad, how the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases are like HIV AIDS,” said the 2004 Military Academy Abituren.
“Until now, HIV/AIDS has no cure and has claimed many lives. For this reason, this understanding is very important so that soldiers and Persit in particular understand the dangers,” he concluded.
In the counseling that was delivered, dr. Yemima Tita explained that the medium for transmitting HIV-AIDS is through blood, sperm and needles. Meanwhile, HIV-AIDS is not transmitted through saliva, tears and sweat.
For that dr. Tita appealed to soldiers and soldiers of Yonif Mekanis Raider 411/Pandawa Kostrad to prevent HIV-AIDS in several ways, including not having free sexual relations and not having sexual relations outside of marriage.
The counseling activity which lasted 90 minutes took place enthusiastically where the soldiers and soldiers actively participated in asking questions about the material, with the aim of understanding more about the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases.
