Councilor Marco Ávila criticizes the installation of a kennel in San Antonio Encina
Councilor Marco Avila gave his opinion on the initiative to install the municipal kennel in the San Antoni Encina sector, near the Polígono, considering that it is an arbitrary measure that “has lacked proper consultation with local residents” .
“The installation of the new municipal kennel in the San Antonio Encina sector is further proof of the Mayor’s stubbornness. This is a tender that is executed in the sector without prior conversation with the neighbors, without prior analysis about the subsequent effects that will be generated after the installation of this pipe in the place. Without a doubt, the effects are enormous, not only for the animals, but also for the residents of the sector, who will not only be affected by the capital gain, but also the quality of life they currently have in that place, ”said the councilor.
He added that “it is necessary that the initiatives that have to do with the legal part continue to advance, which ultimately seek to try to prevent this kennel from being built there, but it is also important to call on the neighbors to organize and categorically reject this measure imposed by the communal authority ”.
Marco Ávila affirmed that he firmly believes that this type of initiative “must be dialoguing, they must be discussed with the community, with neighborhood associations in order to identify the effects that will be generated, in addition to seeking mitigation measures for possible adverse effects that are generated ”.
