The fourth summit of the Council of Europe approved the final resolution, in which it declared political support for the Ukrainian interpretation of the “peace formula”.

The document, which was adopted by the presidents and heads of government of the member states of the Council of Europe, expresses “full support for Ukraine and its people” and guarantees that peace “will be with Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
At the same time, the member states of the Council of Europe also noted that they choose the vision of the path to peace that Ukraine promotes.
“There can be no lasting peace without accountability, and we support the principles of a just and lasting peace set out in President Zelensky’s ‘peace formula’,” the document emphasizes.
Thus, the Council of Europe summit became the first major international forum that officially confirmed the Ukrainian plan for achieving peace. The CE includes 46 states.
Earlier EuroPravda published the text of the so-called “peace formula Zelensky” of 10 points, which Ukraine presented in November last year.
Recall that also at the summit of the Council of Europe in Reykjavik, 43 states approved the damage register agreement from Russian aggression, which paves the way for compensation.
