Tatjana Brand and Liane Müller donated blood 50 times. They received the gold medal with a gold laurel wreath and an engraved number of donations. Jürgen Ferdinand donated blood 75 times, and he was also awarded the gold medal with a gold laurel wreath and an engraved number of donations. Except for Liane Müller, the other four had apologized for this evening. Schott praised the donors’ sense of responsibility and helpfulness.
DRK local association chairman Sandro Baumgarten thanked the blood donors and appealed to friends and acquaintances to encourage more regular blood donations in the future. The local DRK associations Jechtingen and Leiselheim organize joint blood donation campaigns every year.
The shutters on the windows of the local administration were also on the agenda. The folding shutters on the south side of the church are getting on in years, they are ailing and should be replaced by new ones, said Mayor Liane Müller. During an on-site appointment with Bruno Beck from the Ringswald & Beck joinery, the matter was closely examined. A repair of these shops is no longer possible. At Ringswald & Beck, offers were obtained for three windows, including assembly and disposal of the old shops. There were two offers for folding shutters as panels in pine wood for 1510 euros and folding shutters as powder-coated aluminum hollow-chamber profiles for 1828 euros. After a factual discussion, the councils decided in favor of the aluminum variant. The resolution proposal of the local council is introduced to the local council.
