The three investigators from the USES, the unit dedicated to narcotics and the underground economy at the police station of Coulommiers (Seine-et-Marne), will have worked two months, drawn up 544 minutes and sent 1,200 sheets to the prosecution. It is that they have just completed a beautiful affair mixing pimping and money laundering. All this in one massage parlor installed in Coulommiers, called Le Soleil d’Or until 1is last December, since renamed Phoénix.
The police had serious suspicions about this establishment. To support them they will have made audio and video recordings, shadowing and going through bank accounts. This is how a second fraudulent salon, run by the same operators, was discovered at Saint-Maurice (Val de Marne). Result, six people were arrested this Tuesday February 23 in the Paris region: in Coulommiers, Créteil (Val-de-Marne), Aubervilliers and Bagnolet (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Around 130,000 euros seized
The searches carried out in the two salons turned out to be in vain. On the other hand, searches carried out at homes revealed an activity related to money laundering: 26,150 euros in cash, three watches and a luxury bag, a diamond worth 5,000 euros, eleven cell phones, six computers, two vehicles… for of people who said they were paid the minimum wage.
