Florida, USA – Streamer Adin Ross likes to attract attention, but mostly in a negative way. The American is known for his controversial actions. Last year he was even banned from Twitch for hate speech and had to switch to Kick as a result. Ross is also friends with Andrew Tate. He has attracted attention with misogynistic content and will soon have to answer to a Romanian court for human trafficking and exploitation.

Adin Ross likes to get political: Adin Ross is not without problems. He keeps announcing breathtaking guests for his streams, but they do not always live up to expectations. Ross promised an interview with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-unbut then presented his audience with an impersonator.

This time, the real Trump actually showed up and the two talked for 90 minutes about all sorts of topics. Ross gave Trump two gifts that could now get him into trouble.
Adin Ross’ gifts to Donald Trump could be too expensive
Gifts from private individuals are limited: The monetary value that a private individual can donate to a candidate’s election campaign is limited. This also includes valuables. This was explained by Daniel Weiner, law professor and director of the election and policy department at the Brennan Center for Justice, to the Washington PostThe Federal Election Commission, the election commission that regulates campaign finance, has set the limit for the election in question at $3,300 (approx. €3,000). Ross’ gifts, however, far exceed this limit.
Expensive gifts: So Ross gave Trump a gold Rolexwhich is estimated to be worth $40,000 (just under €36,700), and a customized Cybertruck. The latter could have cost between $81,895 and $101,985 (approximately €75,000 to €94,000). Since it is a model painted specifically for Trump, the price should be set at the higher end of the price range. This clearly exceeds the $3,300 mark.
The situation is not yet clear
Much ado about nothing? Of course, it is also possible that Ross gave Trump these gifts on behalf of his company. This would make the discussion about the monetary value irrelevant, as there are no limits on this for companies. The Trump campaign would discuss exactly how Ross’ gifts would be handled with the FEC.

There are no consequences for Adin Ross yet: It is not yet clear whether Adin Ross will face consequences for his violation. This is also the responsibility of the FEC. However, the FEC has not yet commented on the incident to the Washington Post. Ingame will of course keep you updated!
