Jakarta –
Agent Paul pogba, Mino Riaola said his client might return to Juventus Next season. However, given the current financial condition of the Bianconeri, this is difficult to achieve.
Pogba contract with Manchester United will expire in June next year, and has not yet been extended. If the situation does not change, the French midfielder may negotiate with other clubs in January, including Juventus.
“We will talk to Manchester United and see what happens. Paul still loves Turin. There is a chance that Pogba will return to Juventus, but it also depends on Juventus’ plans,” Raiola told reporters. Rai Sport.
Juventus’ plan is the key word here. Do the Bianconeri consider Pogba as part of the plan? Tactically, Pogba would fit in under Massimiliano Allegri, who coached him for two seasons.
However, financially, this is not necessarily the case. Juventus has just recorded a loss of more than 200 million Euros over the last financial year, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Management decided to provide additional capital to the club of 400 million Euros.
In the report, Juventus also predicts that they will suffer another loss over the next year, although it may not be as big as now, because spectators are allowed to return to the stadium even though it is limited, and the museum can already be visited.
This is what makes Juventus economical shopping on the market last summer. Only three players were brought in, namely Kaio Jorge, Manuel Locatelli and Moise Kean. The last two names came on loan for the first two seasons, and then made permanent payments in stages.
To quote Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini to Tuttosport, the Old Lady are currently focused on “players with tremendous potential to be developed by the coach.”
“We will remain competitive and want to win titles, but with a different approach. We already know the cost for the future and how much it can cost to buy players,” continued Cherubini.

This implies that Juventus currently tend to buy young players who can be kept for many years to build a strong club foundation, not buy ‘finished players’.
Other than that, Football Italia report transfer policy Juventus currently is not paying players over 9-10 million Euros per season (before tax). Here lies the problem.
Pogba currently estimated to earn 15 million Euros per season at Manchester United. Obviously the value is 33 percent beyond the value limit that can be accepted by Juventus. With the current situation, Pogba clearly doesn’t fit into Juventus’ criteria.
But the situation in the next year could change, and Pogba’s opportunity to Turin is not completely closed. If Juventus’ financial condition improved, they could have made an exception for the Paris-born player.
