How many citizens are enrolled in Couffo to participate in the choice of the new president of the Republic of Benin? In relation to this question, statistics at the level of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission (Cena) show 373,057 voters.

Chief town of the department, Aplahoué has the largest workforce, namely 81,271 voters. It is followed by Djakotomey with its 69,007 voters, then by the communes of Klouékanmè, Dogbo and Lalo in order of importance of the numbers of citizens who have fulfilled the legal conditions to participate in the presidential election. 64,397 voters are retained in Klouékanmè, 58,872 in Dogbo and 56,315 in Lalo. Sixth and last commune of Couffo, Toviklin registered only 43,195 voters, the smallest number in the department.
To facilitate the fulfillment of civic duty in Couffo, 1,108 polling stations were created, including 234 on behalf of Aplahoué. Voters had to choose between three duos of candidates, namely Talon-Talata, Kohoué-Agossa and Djemba-Hounkpè. And this, like their fellow citizens from other departments.
