Tasting commentary : Composed of Mourvèdre and Syrah, it smells of ripe cherry and thyme. With a beautiful thickness, its fruit is smooth and tasty, with a pleasant length and freshness.

A word from the domain :

“The farmhouse has been in the family since 1670 and since then it has been cultivated organically and then in biodynamics in the early 2000s. It is a terroir of rolled pebbles and red clay, the terraces are isolated and surrounded by the Mediterranean forest facing east over the Rhone Valley. 2019 is a sunny vintage, its grapes were harvested on September 13. We could compare Mourvèdre to a wild animal and in Libian, we choose to tame it. ” nevertheless forgets its origins and even if it is the fruits which dominate, its wild side is underlying. We raise it in 4 different containers in equal parts (1/2 muids stockinger, biophytos porcelain jar, stoneware jar Clayver, stainless steel tank). Before bottling, we assemble Mourvèdre, a reducing grape variety that needs air and very little sulfur. The wine is to drink and to keep. Regarding the most beautiful pairings: truffle and chocolate reunited have something intoxicating. a great Jura winegrower would go: “life is good!”
