Côte d’Or | The SNCF Dijon-Paris line will be cut for the next three weekends

Launched in February 2019, work to modernize the substation at Laumes station continues. As a reminder, this important project, which must be completed in January 2020, aims to replace the catenary gantry overhanging the 9 tracks, build a technical building and completely renew the high and low voltage equipment of the station.

According to SNCF Réseau, “the work is aimed at improving the regularity of rail traffic, ensuring the proper functioning of signaling facilities in real time and more effectively informing customers at stations”.

The next operations will result in a total cut in rail traffic on the SNCF Dijon – Paris line four times:

– from Saturday September 28 at noon to Sunday September 29 at 4 p.m.

– from Saturday October 5 at 10:30 a.m. to Sunday October 6 at 2:30 p.m.

– from Saturday October 12 at 12 p.m. to Sunday October 13 at 9 a.m.

What impact for travelers?

Sure the TGV line, all trains using the Dijon – Paris axis will be eliminated during these work periods. Only a few TGV Lyria Paris – Zurich trains will run and will be diverted by Strasbourg.

On the TER network, traffic will be interrupted on the Dijon – Laroche-Migennes line during the work periods on September 28-29, October 5-6 and October 12-13. During the blackout period, road substitutions will be put in place between Dijon and Laroche-Migennes, serving all the stations of the rail axis. On the Laroche-Migennes-Montereau line, traffic will be halted during the four weekends with the installation of alternative buses.
