The CFDT calls for a day of mobilization in the Health, Social and Medico-social sector, Tuesday June 16, 2020.
The “soldiers” of the health, social and medico-social sectors do not want to collect crumbs. A medal, a “July 14 dedicated to caregivers”: it is inadmissible and above all insufficient!
Caregivers, rehabilitation staff and medico-technical, administrative, technical, educational: they are essential for our society, it is time to develop their public utility.
Today, it is by ignoring the fatigue of professionals or by abusing restrictions on the right to strike (100% assignment to the Dijon CHU) that the State and the management of establishments thank the staff for their commitment.
The CFDT Health-Social claims for all professionals in these sectors:
– A universal and egalitarian “Covid bonus”,
– Recognition of COVID-19 occupational disease by the rapid publication of a text,
– The compensation and / or recovery of overtime related to COVID-19 and therefore the rapid publication of a text,
– A revaluation of the salary scales and the recognition of all trades in the health, social and medico-social sectors: increase in remuneration, the night time, Sunday work and public holidays, etc.
– Staff in line with the workload guaranteeing better working conditions,
– An investment and financing policy for these sectors up to the quantitative and qualitative needs, respectful of users and professionals.
In Mulhouse, on March 25, 2020, the President of the Republic declared:
“I asked the government to provide a clear and strong short-term response for all healthcare workers and for all civil servants mobilized, in order to increase the overtime worked in the form of an exceptional bonus for being able to financially support this recognition ”.
Mr. President, after words, deeds! Whatever it costs!
