Côte d’Or | SNCF works on the Dijon line

Once again, all TGVs using the Dijon-Paris axis will be eliminated. Only certain TGV Lyria Paris Zurich trains will travel to Dijon then be diverted by Strasbourg before reaching the capital. With regard to TER, the situation is more complex.

Thus, this weekend, it will be necessary to deal with a total interruption of traffic between Dijon and Laroche-Migennes between Saturday, noon, and Sunday, 9 am, on the TER network. But the section of tracks between Laroche-Migennes and Montereau will be cut at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and will not reopen until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. During this whole period, road substitutions are put in place and will serve all the stations of the railway axis.

Another week of disruption on October 12 and 13

The following weekend, traffic will be interrupted again between Dijon and Laroche-Migennes. Always between noon on Saturday 12 October and 9 a.m. on Sunday 13.

Launched in February 2019, the modernization work on the Laumes station electrical substation is due to be completed in January 2020 and is intended to replace the catenary gantry overhanging the 9 tracks, construct a technical building and completely renew the up and down equipment station tensions.

According to SNCF Réseau, “the work is aimed at improving the regularity of rail traffic, ensuring the proper functioning of signaling facilities in real time and more effectively informing customers at stations”.
