Côte-d’Or senator Alain Houpert, victim of threats and insults on Twitter, files a complaint

It was after participating in a program during which Alain Houpert had supported Professor Didier Raoult that the senator from Côte-d’Or wiped himself name-calling and physical threats promising him in particular to take care of his case, other than on Twitter.

Tweets that were reported to the chosen one by his entourage. On the advice of the Senate, Alain Houpert therefore decided to file a complaint with the Dijon police station. It appears that the messages came from a Grenoble math teacher, which published under the pseudonym @Sonic_urticant, but whose account no longer exists.

An irascible internet user who was not on his first skid

“We have the right to disagree and to defend our opinions in a democracy, but not to threaten” explains Alain Houpert, whom we have contacted. The elected official explains that apparently several personalities, including Professor Raoult, were also the target of the Internet user. An investigation is opened and entrusted to a specialist in research on social networks.
