Bonon, May 22, 2021 (AIP) – A total of 150 blood bags were collected by the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) of Daloa, at the Lycée moderne de Bonon during a blood donation operation, organized by the establishment’s health club.
“It is both a civic and medical act to donate blood to save lives”, declared the principal of the school, Effoué Eponon during this operation which mobilized the educational staff and the pupils, Wednesday May 19, 2021 in the school yard.
The director of Bonon general hospital, Dr Tapé Gossé, was delighted by the enthusiasm for this operation, which will make it possible to have blood in reserve to save lives.
Donors will know both their blood type and will be entitled to cards for the most regular.
