The Republican Lorrain – Today at 07:00
Former keep of the castle that the counts of Luxembourg erected in Thionville towards the end of the 11th century, the Tour aux Puces is an original building with fourteen sides listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments. The Tour aux Puces Museum is an archeology museum labeled “Musée de France”. Controlled by the State, it presents collections ranging from Prehistory to the Renaissance, through eight themed rooms.
A chronological journey makes you travel easily through the great periods of our history. A modern museography as well as many explanatory panels also allow you to discover or rediscover the rich past of Thionville and its region.
