What are the costs of the Chinese sedan Kaiyi E5 assembled in Russia: experts tell us everything

A survey by the Avtostat group determined the cost of ownership of a Chinese car Kaiyi E5, which is produced at the Avtotor production facility in Kaliningrad. Since sales were launched in the Russian Federation last March, the model has been attracting buyers with its availability and limitations.
Kaiyi E5 is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 147 hp. and variable. Currently, the lowest price of this sedan is 2,115,000 rubles.
According to calculations, the total costs of ownership of this car in Moscow and the Moscow region over five years will be about 1.14 million rubles, based on annual mileage of 100,000 km. At the same time, on average, the owner spends 19,000 rubles per month, and the cost of one kilometer is estimated at 11.4 rubles.
The largest share of fuel costs – 42%, or 480 thousand rubles. The next important cost items are insurance (total cost 335 thousand rubles, including comprehensive insurance and compulsory motor insurance) and maintenance, which takes 23% of the total costs, or 265 thousand rubles.
At the same time, you will have to spend about 37 thousand rubles on winter tires, and the transport fee will be 26 thousand rubles. Therefore, ownership of Kaiyi E5 is very economical considering its class and features.
