After the escalating costs for a bicycle image film in Bielefeld, it has now become known that a further 20,000 euros in costs were incurred. A participation campaign was started to raise the money.
This involved putting up 50 large posters and advertising online. With these measures, the Office of Transport called for people to send in self-made videos that promote cycling in the city. After inquiries from the FDP and AFD, it has now been announced that ten films were sent.
The city had already spent €110,000 on the original 4:53 minute video clip and the premiere event alone. In the video, several people ride their bikes through Bielefeld while singing. It should promote the use of bicycles.
