Costco to begin offering COVID-19 vaccines in New York City – Telemundo New York (47)

Retail warehouse Costco will begin offering COVID-19 vaccines at select locations. The company said the doses will be available in cities in California, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington and Puerto Rico.

“Our pharmacies will administer COVID-19 vaccines as soon as they are available, in accordance with CDC and state guidelines,” the retailer said in a statement.

The branches of the company will follow the distribution rules established by the different states, and being a Costco member does not guarantee that you will be able to register to receive the vaccine. The retail warehouse emphasized that, for now, it has a limited number of vaccines.

“Costco is firmly committed to helping protect the health and safety of our members and employees, and serving our communities,” the company said in a statement.

Stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island are ready to receive the vaccine once it is available.

Costco urged its customers not to contact their local store pharmacy to schedule appointments. They need to visit the website to make an appointment once the supply is available.

The company said Moderna vaccines will be those administered in its stores.
