The Syndea family is very happy to welcome as Chairman of its Board of Directors, former Prime Minister Mr. Costas Karamanlis, current Chairman of the Cooperative Union of Tobacco Producers of Greece (SEKE S.A.), one of the largest shareholders of our company.
For our board of directors, our company and the Greek insurance market, it is a great honor for Mr. Karamanlis to assume the position of president. His presence in the leadership of Syndea fills us with confidence and optimism in our effort to strengthen the footprint of our company and the institution of private insurance in Greek society.
At a time when risks are multiplying due to climate change – demographic crisis and the state is taking initiatives to strengthen the insurance coverage of the population, we are confident that the private insurance industry in our country, our company, our shareholders and the staff we will utilize his administrative experience, his knowledge, his international contacts, for the further development of the market and also of the cooperative concept that Syndea and our new president consistently serve.
