San Jose: Costa Rican football star dies after being attacked by a crocodile. Costa Rican club Deportivo Rio de Janeiro star Jesus Alberto Lopez Ortiz has lost his life.

The incident took place on the Canas River in Costa Rica on Saturday. Eyewitnesses revealed that the star who was exercising jumped from the bridge into the Canas River. Then the crocodile attacks and dies while swimming.

Footage of the crocodile moving through the water with the actor’s body has emerged. Lopez’s body was brought ashore by shooting the crocodile. The club issued an official statement condoling the death of the player.
