An increasingly critical situation on the Côte d’Azur: intensive therapies are at 30% of the capacity.
They continue to aincrease coronavirus infections on the French Riviera. In France the situation is getting worse and now it is alarm, particularly in the city of Nice, struggling with new and severe restrictions.
Currently, it turns out occupied 30% of the places in intensive care and, in light of this, from Friday the ban on gathering in more than 10 in public places, including parks and gardens, but also on the beach: the famous Promenade des Anglais, it is an important socialization place for the maritime city, but also here i anti-crowd controls will be very strict.

Also, they come open air concerts banned, alcohol cannot be sold after 8pm and above all, bars have been closed from midnight to 6am: in the historic center of Nice is a real revolution, as the nightlife is the beating heart of the city.

Such measures are amply justified, since, in this geographical area, the rate of infected turns out to be the highest in the country, surpassing
200 for every 100 thousand inhabitants (compared to 88 of the national average) and seriously infected are (in percentage) double compared to elsewhere.
But another arises big issue: some employees of the
CHU, the city’s university hospital, admitted to to work, although they turn out positive for coronavirus, because of lack of suitable personnel to replace them. Despite this very unfortunate, the same doctors admit to using maximum precautions and only those are in turn
asymptomatic, while the most serious cases remain in isolation.
