The regional individual rhythmic gymnastics A championship took place on December 11 and 12 in Saverne. Faced with the best clubs of the Grand Est, Cosnes-et-Romain climbed on the podium thanks to the remarkable third place of Déborah Dejardin in Federal 16-17 years.
Jennifer Richard, her trainer, said: “Despite a difficult start to the season with two competitions below her level and an elbow injury that disrupted her preparation for qualification, she was able to bounce back and ensure a sequence without big mistakes. She is a worker who deserves this medal ”.

The good surprise then came with the qualification of the Edelweiss for the Clubs Cup (team of four individual gymnasts). Thanks to the marks obtained by Céleste Grandidier (9e in Nationale C 18 years and over) and by three of the Federals 10-11 years who had a very good competition for their first year at this level: Apoline Del Picolo 7e , Lola Friche 9e and Lilou Blondin 10e , the small club of the Pays-Haut will be represented during the championship of France.
Five gymnasts will go to the national final on January 23 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, a new record!

Good results
The other gymnasts were not unworthy, they sometimes had to face very high categories like Clara Dejardin in National 11 years old (11e ) or to poor performances, unfortunately, like Lou Anne Neusch in Nationale B 16-17 years old (11e ). Elsa Antoine finishes 12e and Louise Anki-Bravetti 18e in Federal 10-11 years old, Emma Roger 9e and Lily-Rose Ferry 17e in Federal 16-17 years old and Clara Angeli 9e in Nationale C 12-13 years old.
The regional gymnasts, meanwhile, defended the club’s colors at the regional B final in Holtzheim on Saturday 18 December. In regional 10-11 years, Maïly Ponce is 5e , Lilly Schnotz 8e and Loane Balin 11e / 22. In regional 12-13 years, Alessia Cicuto is 6e and Laura Getti 25e / 32. In regional 14-15 years, Leina Gazeaux is 6e and Léa Roger 8e out of 41 gymnasts. Excellent results, since for the most part it was their first year in individual.
To close this regional championship, Pauline Guerreiro offers herself a well-deserved reward, a silver medal in Federal 16-17 years old.
