The Grand Tournoi d’Antananarivo (GTA), the long awaited pre-season tournament, delivered its conclusion yesterday at the Bypass Stadium, with two clubs qualifying for the final. COSFA (Club Omnisport des Forces Armées) and CFFA (Football Training Center Andoharanofotsy) won in the semi-finals. In the first match of the day, COSFA showed how good it was against AS Avenir Sainte Anne, winning 2-0. The army took the lead thanks to a double from Toky. The first goal came in the 42nd minute, with a good penalty. Toky did it again, doubling the lead in the 46th minute to seal the match. The other semi-final saw CFFA win over Ajesaia by a narrow score of 1-0. The only performance of the game was signed by Gôna, who found the net in the 54th minute. With these two victories, COSFA and CFFA will face each other in a highly anticipated final. The two clubs, among the most prestigious in the country, look ready to battle for victory.
