Cosby Show actress has to apologize for happy reaction after…

Phylicia Rashad, who became world famous for her role as Clair Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has apologized to her employer, Howard University. The institute, where the actress started this month as dean of the cabaret faculty, previously said it was not happy about her rather exuberant reaction to the release of actor and comedian Bill Cosby.

“Finally! A terrible mistake has been corrected, the failure of justice has been repaired,” Rashad tweeted on Wednesday. When angry reactions came, she sent a follow-up tweet in which she expressed support for victims of sexual abuse. “I definitely didn’t want to be heartless about their experience with my post. I know from friends and family that such abuse has lifelong consequences. My heartfelt wish is that they recover.”
