Open to the public and with free tickets, the Corto Circuito Latino ShortFest celebrates its 19th edition in New York City. From November 6 to 9, there will be a captivating line-up featuring inventive, award-winning short films from Latin America and Spain.
Through a press release, the organizers clarified that all films with foreign languages are subtitled in English.
Likewise, the event pays tribute to Latin animators with a presence in international festivals and filmmakers who compete independently with stories for children and adults.
“We hope that the animated shorts made by Latinos move our audiences with their risky and even impertinent visions of the world,” said Diana Vargas, director and co-founder of the festival.
