Jakarta –
Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) also highlights the assets owned tax officer Rafael Alun Trisambodo which reached IDR 56 billion. The Corruption Eradication Commission said that Rafael’s assets did not match his position as an echelon III official.
“Jumbo (wealth) isn’t prohibited, if you look at the announcement there are lots of jumbo ones, the problem isn’t the profile match. So don’t be jumbo oh this is the ministry, as for the profile match it’s okay, for example, the sultan’s father, who knows, the legacy is as big as that, there are also officials like that,” said KPK Deputy for Prevention Pahala Nainggolan at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday (23/2/2023 ).
“So if the case is this tax official, we say no profile match, he is echelon III and if in announcement see detailed contents that’s it there are many assets, yes, assets diem,” he continued.
Pahala explained that the KPK had not seen and examined in detail Rafael’s assets. Nevertheless, said Pahala, his party would check with BPN what land certificates belonged to Rafael.
“Well, we haven’t looked at it in detail or haven’t actually checked the first one, are there any other assets. For people who like assets, they usually have other assets and we want to check with the National Land Agency, either his name, the name of his wife’s children or maybe above. name someone else on his family card,” said Pahala.
Pahala said that whether or not Rafael’s wealth was actually not important. What is important at this time is that there is a discrepancy between the assets and the profile of the echelon III tax official.
“So my comment is Rp. 50 billion, yes, if it’s big or not big it’s not important, but what’s important is that the profile isn’t there yet connect,” said Pahala.
Furthermore, Pahala said that currently the director of the LHKPN is looking at where the Rp 56 billion in assets that belonged to Rafael came from.
“Now maybe what we will do soon is we will look at the details with the director of the LHKPN and we are looking at where the treasure is coming from,” said Pahala.
