Mexico City. “Don’t corrupt them,” stressed President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, ratifying that the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data will disappear. He offered that the situation of the workers will be reviewed, but he noted, “one thing is those who have generated labor rights and another is those of trust.”
In the morning of the town, he located the decision of the INAI in the announcement to reduce, due to republican austerity, five percent the cost of the government – as announced yesterday -, because those resources are going to be allocated to social programs and public works.
“What there will no longer be are public expenditures on nightclubs or government tourism trips; (Nor) expenses on American Express cards, but people will always be attended to” in terms of transparency.
He stated that the INAI does not facilitate transparency through digitalization and without requiring expenses, as they are doing now, by making medication codes available to citizens.
“Moral, ethical authority is gained throughout a life, it is not from a statement from one person or another, at a certain moment.”
He took the opportunity to ask the ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation: “how do you want to go down in history, as constitutionalists or violating the Constitution?”
