The artists Nanda Costa and Lan Lahn already loved Salvador, but the change happened at the request of their daughters, Kim and Tiê, aged 2. The actress revealed, this Wednesday (09), that she was them to live in the capital of Bahia because the girls did not want to live on the air bridge anymore.

The girls didn’t want to leave. They said: ‘Mom, I want to live in Bahia!'”, said Nanda in an interview with Jornal Extra. The change only happened, of course, at Easter this year. Nanda and Lan looked for a new school for the girls, they found one that suited the mothers’ prerequisites.

Now, properly installed, the routine of the little girls and their artists is now in Salvador, the home country of the percussionist. “Nanda’s family is from Paraty, so we are there and here. I lived in Rio for 30 years and always knew I would return to Salvador one day. It was also Nanda’s move, her mother loves it… So I’m lucky that it worked out and that it returned to my roots”, said Lan.

And the girls’ love for Bahia seems to come from another life. The city was influenced by Kim and Tiê, who fell in love with the beaches of Salvador, the markets spread throughout the capital, as well as acarajé, which became the favorite food of the little ones.

“When we go to take them swimming, they pass the acarajé stall at 10am and they are already saying they want to eat. I say: “Love, the Bahian woman hasn’t even woken up yet, she doesn’t exist,” concluded the actress.
