“Silvio” is presented in several theaters in Salvador

The film “Silvio”, in which Rodrigo Faro and which shows the life of the deliveryman Silvio Santos, will appear for the first time this Thursday (12), almost a month after the death of the owner of SBT. Directed by Marcelo Antunez, the film aims to show the “human side” of one of the biggest icons of Brazilian television. In Salvador and the metropolitan area, “Silvio” appears in cinemas at Shopping Barra, Shopping da Bahia, Shopping Cajazeiras, Salvador Shopping, Shopping Paralela, Salvador Norte Shopping and Parque Shopping Bahia.
Written by Anderson Almeida, “Silvio” focuses on the episode in which the presenter was held hostage in his own home in São Paulo, shortly after his daughter Patrícia (Polliana Aleixo) was released from evict Under the threat of the kidnapper, Fernando Dutra Pinto (Johnnas Oliva), Silvio Santos revisits important moments through solutions: his childhood, his experience as a street vendor in Rio de Janeiro and the founding of SBT.
The film also reveals a little talked about aspect of Silvio’s life: his first marriage to Maria Aparecida. Silvio kept the relationship a secret for ten years, as a strategy to avoid damaging his image as a heartthrob.
The intense focus on work means that the businessman is often absent from home, without closely following the evolution of his wife’s illness – Cidinha died from stomach cancer. This adds to the distance with his eldest daughter. In the plot, Cíntia (Ana Paula Lopez) only gets closer to her father after the robbery.
