A couple was arrested by the Federal Police this Saturday morning (30) transporting around 28 kg of cocaine on a cruise ship, which was docked at the Port of Ilhéus, in the south of Bahia. The prisoners boarded in Rio de Janeiro and were destined for the city of Barcelona, ​​Spain.

The narcotic substances were hidden in false bottoms of four suitcases and were identified during luggage inspection with a scanner and detection dog.

The prisoners were sent to the Federal Police Station for Judicial Police procedures and later to the state prison system, where they will be available to the Federal Court.
