Posts Pertamina Plumpang depot fire at Koramil 01/Koja corrected the data on the number of dead. Originally it was recorded that there were 17 people, now the record has been corrected. The latest number is 13 dead.
monitoring detikcom at the Koja Koramil, North Jakarta, early Saturday (4/3/2023), the blackboard at the Koja Koramil post changed the death toll to 13 people. The data has been updated by the combined evacuation team officers.
Of the 13 victims, 3 of them were children. The victims who died as a result of the incident have been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, to be identified.
Previously it was reported that the police had begun to identify the victims of the fire at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, North Jakarta. The condition of the bodies identified varied, some were intact but some were totally burnt.
“It’s still being processed now, because the condition of these victims is intact, some have burns up to 100%,” said Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General Fadil Imran.
The process of identifying the bodies was carried out at the R Said Soekanto Hospital or the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta. The process will be carried out quickly and carefully so that the body can be returned to the family as soon as possible.
To facilitate identification, the police need postmortem and antemortem data. At Koramil 01/Koja, a command post was set up. Families who have lost members can report to this command post.
“So this post is the goal tomorrow for those who have lost their family to take their primary identification, fingerprints if they have fingerprint data. Then fingerprints if they have the condition of their teeth. Even if they don’t have them, the last thing is (using) DNA,” said Fadil.
