Sanitas Troesch attaches particular importance to sustainability. We have therefore set ourselves ambitious goals: we want to be carbon neutral by 2050. By 2030, we want to reduce our direct CO2 emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels by at least one third. Already today, we cover all of our electricity consumption using Swiss hydropower.
We are also very sensitive to the themes of fresh water consumption, the circular economy and environmentally friendly logistics. We work closely with our producers and suppliers to develop new innovative solutions. Our product assortment already meets strict ecological standards; we will continue to develop their criteria in the future. In order to be able to engage in dialogue with our customers and highlight particularly sustainable products, we have also created a space dedicated to sustainable development in some of our exhibitions.
We are also involved in business associations such as swisscleantech, whose members are politically and socially committed to a climate-compatible economy.
It is important to us not to convey sustainability only externally, but also to live it within the company. We therefore organize various activities to raise awareness among our staff. We have already launched various internal initiatives, for example in the area of water saving, energy efficiency and plastic consumption.
