“This year, it will depend on what our workers decide. Indoor karting or indoor surfing are among the choices,” explains Émilie David, director of the organization.
Although inflation has an impact on certain companies which are reducing their budget allocated to certain fun activities (see other text), this does not seem to be the case at Construction Pierre Lalande.

If Construction Pierre Lalande offers so many activities to the members of its organization, it is above all to improve the feeling of belonging, at a time when labor is scarce.
“We’ve been doing this since 2018 and we saw how much the guys missed it during the pandemic. The dynamic really wasn’t the same,” says M.me David.

“We’re like a little family. We want them to feel that they are important to us and that we recognize their efforts. We try to pamper them,” she continues.
Thousands of dollars in prizes are also drawn during these gatherings, which also serve to look back on the good things, and the bad things, of the year.
