Coronavirus worldwide: Serbia is silent on 2/3 of deaths in 2020 according to investigation – World

New restrictions for the unvaccinated are coming into force in Singapore, TASS reported, quoted by BTA. “The strengthening of the measures aims to protect people who have not been vaccinated, as well as to reduce the burden on the health system of the republic,” the statement of the interdepartmental group for combating COVID-19 said.

By order of the government, as of today, October 13, only those who have completed a full course of vaccination have the right to visit cafes, malls, tourist sites, amusement parks and others, two weeks after the second dose. In addition, the unvaccinated will only be able to buy food to take home. Until now, they were allowed to visit outdoor dining areas.

Authorities upheld other restrictions introduced in mid-August. Visits to gyms, gyms, concerts, exhibitions and cinemas are prohibited without vaccination or a negative PCR test. On August 10, when the vaccination rate of Singaporeans reached 80 percent, authorities began a preparatory phase for life with COVID-19, when the virus will move from pandemic to endemic.

On this date, many socio-economic restrictions were lifted, mainly for those fully vaccinated. At that time, the daily number of infected was about 20-30 people, but after the lifting of restrictions, it began to grow rapidly and currently up to 3,000 new cases are registered per day. However, the government emphasizes that it does not plan to return the lockdown and will instead limit itself to targeted measures.

According to the Singapore Ministry of Health, in almost 99 percent of cases, those infected do not experience any symptoms or tolerate the disease in a mild form similar to an acute respiratory infection.
In Singapore, with a population of 5.6 million people, more than 132,000 cases of coronavirus and 183 deaths from COVID have been confirmed since the beginning of the pandemic.
