Coronavirus. Who are the personalities affected by the disease?

Politicians, athletes, artists: here are the main personalities who died due to the coronavirus epidemic, but also those who are hospitalized or convalescent.

Deceased personalities

The American jazzman Ellis Marsalis died on April 1 of Covid-19 disease at age 85.

The Senegalese Pope Diouf , 68, former leader of Olympique de Marseille, a French football club, died on March 31.

Former President of Congo-Brazzaville Jacques Joaquim Yhombi Opango died on March 30 in France at the age of 81.

The former minister and figure of the French right Patrick Devedjian died on the night of March 28-29, aged 75.

The Cameroonian saxophonist Manu Dibango (86) and the American playwright Terrence mcnally (81) died on March 24.

Former President of Real Madrid Lorenzo Sanz died on March 21 at age 76.

The stars hospitalized

Icon of the 1960s singer Marianne Faithfull, 73, was hospitalized on April 4 in London after being tested positive.

French singer Christophe , 74, hospitalized on March 26 in a Paris hospital was transferred to intensive care in Brest, said his wife on April 10.

Personalities tested positive
