The city Council of Valencia and the showman of the city have reached an agreement to mount a fun-fair in the month of August that complies with all the recommendations of health and safety. The councillor for Public Space, Lucia Beamud, advertise in the BE a this decision after Sunday, the carnies raised this possibility for the future of the sector after the crisis of the coronavirus.
Beamud explained that, after the cancellation of the Gran Fira de Juliol, to mount an exhibition in August will serve to guarantee the subsistence of the sector, which has been one of the most affected the suspension of the festivities. The councillor makes it clear that every attraction should have a health and safety plan and ensure compliance with all protocols to avoid contagions.
In this way, the August fair in Valencia would be one of the first to be held in Spain after the crisis of the coronavirus. Lucia Beamud noted that this will be possible because the city will already more than a month in the new normal and, therefore, the restrictions imposed by the health authorities will be gone by relaxing progressively.
Activity that is permitted by the government
The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, presented this Saturday, the rules governing the “phase 3” advanced in the Comunitat Valenciana from this Monday. Among the permitted activities, are the attractions of the fair, although cnon limitations: will the half of seats of each row keeping a distance of two meters.
