The Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Health and Assistant for Preventive Health Dr. “Abdullah Asiri” revealed the areas that have priority in receiving the Corona vaccine, which arrived today, Wednesday, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Asiri explained, in a telephone interview with the “Al-Akhbariya” channel, that the new anti-virus vaccine will begin to be distributed in the main regions of the Kingdom, and this will be done within the next few days.
He pointed out that the vaccination plan will focus on the groups most vulnerable to diseases and some critical professions, pointing to the distribution of the vaccine to all health centers after a period of training for practitioners.
And the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Health added that the Kingdom will thus be one of 3 countries in the world that began the actual vaccination of its residents with the Covid 19 vaccine.
It should be noted that the Kingdom received, this morning, Wednesday, the first shipment of the “Pfizer-Biontech” vaccine against the Corona virus. On the other hand, the Saudi Health Ministry announced, yesterday, Tuesday, the start of registration for Saudi citizens and residents to obtain the vaccine, through the link of the “My Health” application, which it published on its website.
