A US committee on Thursday called on US health officials to prioritize Pfizer and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines over Johnson & Johnson’s for all adults, and the independent experts’ vote comes after the release of new data on cases of thrombosis (formation of blood clots) after vaccination with Johnson & Johnson, causing nine deaths in the country. The Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) have yet to endorse this recommendation of the committee, whose opinion is not binding. (Belga)
