Florence, 30 September 2020 – There are 120 new infected with coronavirus on the day of Wednesday 30 September. The average age of the new cases is 43 years, while the swabs in one day have reached quota 7700. These are some of the numbers of the new coronavirus bulletin issued from the Region. There are no new deaths. Compared to Tuesday 29 September the cases doubled but the swabs, again on Tuesday, were 4,700. The currently positives are 3,402 today.

The contagion map
The following are the cases of positivity in the area with the change from yesterday. There are 4,297 total cases to date a Florence (36 more than yesterday), 884 a Meadow (9 more), 1,030 a Pistoia (5 more), 1,535 a Pulp (3 more), 1,821 BC Lucca (9 more), 1,566 a Pisa (32 more), 739 a Livorno (8 more), 1,170 ad Arezzo (13 more), 633 a Siena (3 more), 605 a Grosseto (2 more). There are 547 positive cases reported in Tuscany, but residing in other regions. There are 50, therefore, the cases found today in the ASL Center, 52 in the North West, 18 in the South East.
Average age of the newly infected
The average age of 120 cases today is around 43 years old (19% are under the age of 20, 24% between 20 and 39, 32% between 40 and 59, 19% between 60 and 79, 6% are 80 or older) and, as far as concerns the clinical states, 65% were asymptomatic, 25% pauci-symptomatic. Of the 120 positivity today, 4 cases can be linked to returns from abroad. 54% of cases are a contact linked to a previous case.
There are 22 people in intensive care
The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 119 (2 more than yesterday, plus 1.7%), 22 in intensive care (2 more than yesterday, plus 10%).
The number of healed
The people overall heal there are 10,261 (86 more than yesterday, plus 0.8%): 267 people clinically healed (24 more than yesterday, plus 9.9%), that is, became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection and 9.994 (62 more than yesterday, plus 0.6%) declared healed in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with double negative swab.
There are no new deaths
Today there are no new deaths. Therefore, 1,164 have died since the beginning of the epidemic divided as follows: 420 in Florence, 54 in Prato, 83 in Pistoia, 178 in Massa Carrara, 149 in Lucca, 97 in Pisa, 65 in Livorno, 52 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena, 25 in Grosseto, 8 people died on the ground Tuscan, but they were residents outside the region.
