Medical treatment for the new coronavirus could be available “by summer or early fall,” said US Vice President Mike Pence, who coordinates the fight against the epidemic in the United States, on Monday.
“Therapeutic treatments to provide comfort to people who contract the coronavirus may be available by summer or early fall,” he said in a press briefing, adding that vaccine against the disease “may not be available until the end of the year or the beginning of next year”.
