No restart on the horizon for the craftsmen of the building. About 80% of craft businesses (less than twenty employees, or 64% of building turnover) are stopped. And unlike public works which are organized to restart work sites, with craftsmen (and a good part of the building) the problem is more complicated.
“The customers are often individuals, who are in confinement and refuse the resumption of work, not to mention other conditions not yet met (masks, etc.)”, underlines Patrick Liébus, president of the confederation of craftsmen, the Capeb.
