Twelve cumulative deaths in the Nièvre
In the Nièvre, three new deaths are to be deplored, Tuesday, April 14, in hospitals, according to data from Public Health France, bringing the number of deaths to twelve in the department.
“These three new deaths concern a 92 year old woman living in Nevers, a 91 year old woman living in Varennes-Vauzelles and an 84 year old man from Saint-Père. In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, 1,361 patients are still hospitalized, including 285 in intensive care, announces the regional health agency (ARS), in its press release of April 14.
The total number of deaths in hospitals rose to 551, 39 more than the previous day. There are no new deaths to be deplored in the medico-social establishments of the region, the balance remaining there of 279 deaths. A total of 1,488 people have returned home, on the mend, 25 more than the day before.

Nevers
Occasional and semi-occasional traders in the covered markets are authorized; permanent food traders will only be present on foreign markets, the city announces. Registrations in public schools for the next school year are suspended, the education reception is closed to the public.
Markets, recycling centers, buses, cemeteries …: the city of Nevers adapts to confinement
Merchants from Saint-Arigle have organized themselves to set up a delivery service for their customers. And they are not the only ones to offer new services during periods of containment.
A farmer’s drive has also been set up with a system of baskets of different sizes to be ordered in advance and picked up by car in the middle of the week.
