I could go on with many other examples but I’ll stop here. I think I get the idea of how we are after decades of waste and theft. And I could develop the same discourse with regard to all sectors of the state.
They tell us there is no money. It is the mantra of the majority of TV commentators and politicians. But it’s not true. Every year we throw away hundreds of billions.
And definitely there Health it ranks first in the absurdity of wild waste. But another sector is a bottomless pit: energy efficiency! Today we talk about aid to the economy, right. But these aids are still new debts that someone will have to pay sooner or later. Little is said instead of the need to change the paradigm and cut the endless prairies of the waste and of occasions lost, and still few have understood how much wealth we waste by destroying the environment and resources.
With the group of Ecofuturo Festival and some fellow university professors and researchers made one studio showing that the Italy system throw the toilet 200 billion euros per year and give up hundreds of thousands of jobs.
In the last issue of magazine Ecofuture, available for free as the study just mentioned, we update the picture by explaining the enormous potential of new technologies in the photovoltaic sector, biogas / chemical splitting of methane (i.e. nothing burns, zero smog!). Other innovations that can save you money billions they concern the motorways of the sea, that is, making trucks travel on ferries along the coasts, the restructuring of rail transport, the Decomar system to clean up the seabed of ports, reservoirs and rivers …

Italy up to now has not been able to take full advantage of the technological progress. He did not understand the danger of pollution and the abandonment of the care for woods and rivers, the value of earthquake prevention, digitalization and ecotechnologies …
Perhaps now someone more is realizing that this stupidity pays off. A frightening, human and economic cost.
