With the aim of promoting the donation of blood and plasma, the Commune will carry out a new solidarity day next Monday that will be destined to employees of the Commune. It will take place on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Municipal Palace. There, community employees recovered from COVID-19 will be able to draw blood that will then be analyzed to see if it has the necessary antibodies to donate plasma.
The Secretary of Health, Enrique Rifourcat, explained: “In the fight to combat the coronavirus it is essential that patients recovered from the disease can donate plasma, since, if they have antibodies, it will be very useful to treat people who they are going through COVID-19 ”.
To donate blood it is essential not to have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in at least the last 14 days.
