With these words the Atalanta friends club in Sarnico reported a bad episode that occurred on the night between Saturday and Sunday. On the bridge that divides Sarnico and Paratico, then the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo, a banner of friendship and hope had been displayed. Tonight was torn. It was a message of hope, of unity, just now that Brescia and Bergamo are experiencing terrible days. A way to go beyond the historic rivalry between the two clubs.

The banner read: Divided in the stands, united in pain. Brescia and Bergamo in this difficult moment are suffering for their loved ones. As mayor of Sarnico I say only one word! Shame for those who have committed this gesture. Instead I thank all the people of Bergamo and Brescia who at the moment resist and suffer together.
